At Awoshie A-Lang, a community in Accra, this is the bridge several residents including children use everyday.

It is a disaster waiting to happen.

Richard Ashitey, a student of the High Speed Media Institute who took the picture says complaints about the danger the wooden bridge poses, have been incessant - but the residents are yet to see any concrete steps from local authorities.
