Nzema Manle Rural Bank in the Western Region has been awarded the first runner-up in Loan Financing at the fourth edition of the Rural Banking Excellence Awards.
The event, which was held in Koforidua in the Eastern Region, was also the 22nd Biennial General Meeting of the Association of Rural Banks Ghana (ARB-Ghana).
The Awards was to recognise the works of some Rural Banks in Ghana that performed exceptionally well in the year 2021.
Reacting to the award, Mr Thomas Quayson, the Chief Executive Officer of Nzema Manle Rural Bank, expressed gratitude to the Association of Rural Banks Ghana for recognising the bank’s efforts in providing financial support to customers in their operational areas.
He attributed the banks’s growth to both staff and customers for their unfailing supports and partnerships within the past years.
“The bank is truly grateful for this award and dedicates this award to the stakeholders and customers of Nzema Manle Rural Bank for their loyalty and support for the Bank,” he said.
Mr Quayson noted that the bank’ strategy was to develop keen interest in the stability of their customers and provide them with low-interest loans to support their various businesses.
To be able to meet the banking needs of customers and clients within its operational areas, he said the bank developed tailor-made products and services that promoted Small and Medium-scale Enterprises (SME) Banking, Corporate Banking, Personal Banking, electronic Banking and Loan Services to customers on a low interest rate.
