Founder and General Overseer of the Living Grace Ministries International Bishop Owusu-Akyeaw, have admonished leaders in society to emulate the humility and wisdom of Jesus Christ to become successful in all spheres of endeavour.
He noted that the virtues exhibited by Jesus Christ if applied effectively would transform the church and society.
According to him; “there is the need for leaders to ensure humility and wisdom which are the driving forces in decision-making to serve the interest of the society.”
Bishop Owusu-Akyeaw gave the admonition at the Well of Salvation Ministries (WSM) at Abesim near Sunyani to recognise and honour Bishop Owusu-Akyeaw as “a Living Legend in the Heavenly Kingdom Business worthy of celebrating and emulating.”
The event was organised by Prophet Collins Nyarko, Founder and General Overseer of WSM and his associate pastors, with the support of pastors of Charismatic Churches in the Brong-Ahafo Region.
It had the theme; “We need not to wait for our leaders to die before we write awesome tributes about them, let us celebrate them alive.”
According to Bishop Owusu-Akyeaw “it is always fruitful for a leader to understand and portray the spirit of humility, wisdom and obedience to develop the church.
This is because leading a nation, community, church, association, an institution or a corporate organisation required effective application of divine wisdom.
“I therefore urge leaders to avoid hasty decisions and conclusions, rather, they should be focused and exercise restraint to make good decisions to accomplish set targets and goals.”
Christians should always be aware of operations of unseen forces and negative attitudes of people around them, even Jesus Christ was strongly opposed by the leaders of His time.
“Betrayals and disloyalty by trusted people when revealed should rather motivate us to exercise patience and humility because the application of the wisdom of God will deal with these challenges”, Bishop Owusu-Akyeaw.
