EXECUTIVES of the Brong Ahafo Regional Circles Council (BARCC) of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, led by Chairman Kennedy Enyan, have showered praises on the management and entire playing body of the club for their impressive goalless away drawn game with Kariobangi Sharks of Kenya last Saturday.
The second leg CAF Confederation Cup encounter comes off at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium this Saturday, December 22.
In an Interview, the Regional Communication Officer who also doubles up as member of the Communications Team of Kotoko, Joseph Nkoo, confirmed that the BARCC on Saturday is invading the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in their thousands to motivate the Porcupine Warriors to victory.
“For us, there’s no turning back and we’re going to do everything possible to give Kotoko victory. Indeed, we’re going to fill the stadium and motivate our boys to give us victory hands down.
“We are going to help to fill every space at the stadium to frustrate our opponents, yell at them and finally knock them out.
We are painting the Baba Yara Sports Stadium all red to prove to the whole world that, indeed we are the African Club of the Century,” he stressed.
Kotoko accused the Kenyans of providing a small team bus and also giving them access to a substandard training venue as they prepared for the first leg match last Saturday.
