Accra Great Olympics held Ebusua Dwarfs to a goalless draw, encounter at the Cape Coast Stadium in their 22nd week fixture of the Ghana Premier League (GPL).
The game of two halves saw Dwarfs dominate the first half with Kingsley Nteng firing a long drive which the advanced Michael Sai in post but Olympics managed to save in the 4th minute.
But that save came at a great cost to the visitors as Sai got injured and was replaced by Herold Quaofio after five minutes of medical care.
Olympics were forced into a defensive posture as Dwarfs mounted pressure to break the deadlock.
After early second half substitutions, Olympics took control of the game and missed the opener as Daniel Appiah’s cross for Kwame Boateng missed narrowly in the 52nd minute.
The home fans jubilated over a late free kick in the Oly goal area when Kennedy Baidoo was brought down at the edge of the goal area but Christopher Bonney fired over the bar.
