A section taking the matriculation oath
Data Link Institute has matriculated 236 students at a ceremony held at Tema, at the weekend.
The students will pursue various undergraduate programme in Business and computer science schools, Professional Programmes like Logistics and Transport.
Addressing the students, Professor Jacob J. Nartey urged the students to make their stay in the school profitable by taking their studies seriously.
He assured students of management’s commitment to providing all that was needed to enable them to pass their exams well.
“Data Link aims at producing students who will excel both in the classroom and on the job, and become ambassadors for the Institute and the society at Large,” he added.
He urged them to study hard to excel in academic work and make their parents and guardians proud.
In his welcome address, Mrs Ingrid Ansah, the Vice President, Institutional Advancement of the Institute advised the students to take their studies seriously and develop their talents to be able to contribute meaningfully to the development of the country and Africa.
According to her success could not be achieved on silver platter since the pursuant of higher education comes with its own challenges.
He noted that access to tertiary education was a privilege for just a few, hence they should count themselves blessed, if they have the opportunity.
