Over 25 clubs will appear before the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) Player Status Committee (PSC) today at its sitting scheduled for the the FA’s secretariat in Accra.
It is expected to dispense justice to clubs and players who are entangled in litigation over their status as the PLB opens the second window registration for clubs.
This afternoon’s sittings will commence exactly 1pm.
Clubs expected to appear include Berekum Arsenal and Asante Kotoko who are awaiting a decision on a matter involving the two; Starke FC versus Hearts of Oak which was pushed till further notice; Heart of Lions against Asante Kotoko and DC United versus Aduana Stars.
Jafaru Abdul-Somed will also appear before the committee as he seeks clarity over his status as a Liberty Professionals player just as Edmund Sakyi and Accra Great Olympics, Awudu Ganiyu and Wamanafo Mighty Royals; Alice Longdon against Jonh Michaels FC; Aaron Osei versus Karela FC; Augustine Osei against Danbort FC and Emmanuel Mensah and Nea Salamina FC.
The Committee is also expected to adjudicate on matters between the following players and their respective clubs; Aziz Bashiru against Quality FC; Joshua Kwame Agbemafle versus Koans FC, Bernard Hafiz versus FC Tanga; Adu Boahene against Berekum Unity FC and Agyenim Boateng versus Anokye Stars.
It will also hear new cases involving players and club.
They include Elvis Sakyi and Cheetah FC; Hashim Mohammed and Real Ebony FC; Tema Ajax and Ashantigold SC; Stephen Nortey and Nkwanta Odonko Royal SC; Stephen Amankrah and OTM Foundation; Bismark Botwe and Zein FC; Mustapha Inusah and Divine Soccer Rangers; Rahman Yahaya and Bofoakwa Tano; Samuel Tsikata Mensah and Inter Allies FC and Jacob Armah and Bago FC.
Others include Samuel Boateng and Wa All Stars; Francis Kwaw versus Holy Stars; Desiredo FC versus Liberty Professionals; Mohammed Hamisu, Agyei Kingsley and Baba Musah Alhassan, all against FCM Mamobi; Nancy Coleman and Hassport Ladies; Obeng Linda and Subayo Golden Eagles; Kasiridi Jennifer versus Subayo Golden Eagle and Bright Yaw Tedeku against Unity FC.
