Teachers Call Off Strike

Teacher unions across the country have called off their indefinite industrial action until further notice. The decision followed a meeting with President John Mahama and the leaderships of the teachers unions at the Flagstaff House on Monday. The president appealed to the teachers to suspend their action while their concerns were being addressed by the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission as well as the Ghana Education Service.
