The Omanhene of Tepa Traditional Area, Nana Adusei Atwenewaa Ampem I has observed the 25th anniversary of his enstoolment as Omanhene of Tepa Traditional Area.The three-day celebration climaxed with a grand durbar under the theme: “25 Years of Leadership and Development”.
Addressing the durbar, Nana Adusei AtwenewaaAmpem I attributed his success story to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene.
He noted that through his instrumentality Tepa has made major breakthroughs in terms of Hospital and Schools, among other development projects, which he sees as a befitting legacy.
Prof. Nana Ampem expressed his gratitude towards the people of Tepa and its Local Council for their unwavering support.
Otumfuo was represented at the occasion by Nana Asamoah Gyamfi Sekyere II, Chief of Nsuta.Nana Sekyere urged all “Asantes” to be proud of their heritage and called on natives to support the Tepamanhene to sustain his developmental agenda.
Meanwhile, PETRUS FEDEI SEMINARY (USA) in collaboration with Divine Key Believers Network International and Prince Hampel Word Outreach (UK) has celebrated Tepamanhene and conferred an “Honourary Professorship” on the chief.
The Award Ceremony, which formed part of the three-day celebration of the Silver Jubilee, sought to award people who have helped with the development of the Tepa Traditional Area.
The Principal of Tepa Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Dr. Albert Opoku, was honoured by Nana Adusei AtwenewaaAmpem II with an award for his hard work and for transforming and elevating the College to its present status.
The Principal expressed his gratitude for the award bestowed on him, and further thanked Tepamanhene, and those who have helped him in realising his vision as the Principal, over the past two years.
He announced that the “Phase 1” of the construction of a three storey building is done, hoping the “Phase 2 and 3” will be completed next year.
Dr. Opoku appealed to civil societies, philanthropists and organizations to come to the aid of the College.
