Mr. Frank Asamoah Agyemang, General Manager of the company in charge of the Northern Sector, said the company and government were at an advanced stage to venture into expansion of the rural electrification project under this partnership.
According to him, electricity is indispensable, hence, every community needs to have access to power supply for most human activities.
He said the aim of Prefos is to support the government and Africa’s development and industrialisation agenda by providing modern, durable and high quality electrical and civil engineering services to enhance the country’s socio-economic development.
Mr. Agyemang said in spite of the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, Prefos Limited managed to adhere to its vision and mission as a company.
He, however, called on the government to subsidise the importation taxes so that the company can import more items and products for assembling at the local manufacturing plant.
