The Mayor of Kumasi, Osei Assibey Antwi, last Tuesday commissioned the Kejetia Clinic to serve the health needs of traders in the newly-constructed Kejetia Market facility.
The Clinic is to be managed by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and staff of Anwiam Clinic following their selection by a Search Committee upon whose recommendation they won the slot to operate the medical facility in the new Kejetia Market.
The Mayor advised the general public to enroll on the National Health Insurance Scheme to enable them enjoy the heavily subsidised healthcare delivery system, while plying their trades in the new market.
The KMA boss also admonished the operators of the facility to maintain high standards at all times to justify the confidence reposed in them.
At the commissioning of the Clinic were the Metro Coordinating Director, Kwadwo Akuamoah Boateng, Kumasi Metropolitan Director of Health Services Dr. Akosua Omari-Sasu, General Manager of the Kumasi City Markets Solicitor for the KMA, Lawyer Patrick Adu Poku, the Presiding Member of the KMA, Stephen Ofori, and the CEO and staff of Anwiam Clinic.
