The Kintampo North Education Directorate in the Bono East Region has received Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) for distribution to various schools in the Municipality, in line with measures, as outlined by the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Mr. Dawuda Mohammed, presenting the items on behalf of the Municipal Chief Executive, Michael Sarkodie Baffoe, stated that the government had engineered and enabled a number of activities and measures to fight the pandemic, and was presenting these items for the safeguard of final year 2nd-year Gold Track and Junior High School final year students, as they resume for academic work.
The items presented include 2,636 pieces of hand sanitisers, 162 pieces of thermometer guns, and 5,272 pieces of nose masks.
Mr Evans Kofi Mati, who received the times on behalf of the Education Director, expressed his profound gratitude to the government, through the MCE, for the measures put in place to fight the pandemic since its outbreak.
He gave the assurance his office would make good use of the delivery.
