The Ashanti Business Owners Association (ABOA) has donated 10,000 pieces of surgical gloves, five infrared thermometer devices, and a cheque covering an amount of GH¢40,000 to the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) and Metro Health Directorate.
The Chairman of ABOA, Mr. J. K. Agyemang, presented the items and the cheque to the KMA at a ceremony at the weekend.
The Chief Executive of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, Osei Assibey Antwi, who received the donation, commended ABOA for the wonderful gesture.
The Metropolitan Coordinating Director, Mr. Akuamoah Boateng, was equally thankful to ABOA and promised that the donation would be used for its intended purpose.
He further pleaded with the general public to strictly adhere to the safety precautionary protocols to enable us win this fight against the global enemy, COVID-19.
