The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), last Thursday, donated 4,500 pieces of facial masks to all media houses within the Kumasi Metropolis in partial fulfillment of the assembly’s resolve to fight the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The distribution exercise was carried out by George Opoku Amponsah, Personal Assistant to the Kumasi Mayor, and Georgina Ankomah, Regional Secretary of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA).
About 40 media houses, including print, television radio and online portals, benefitted from the package.
