Zoomlion Ghana Limited, a Ghanaian waste management giant, in collaboration with the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, has disinfected the Ashanti Regional Police Training School at Patasi, a suburb of Kumasi.
The exercise is part of the government’s efforts in sanitising and keeping markets and educational institutions across the country to protect the facilities from the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Mr. Franklin Ofori Akuffo, Ashanti Regional General Manager of Zoomlion, during the exercise explained that the gesture was part of the national disinfection exercise with chlorine and other insecticides meant for killing bacteria and other viruses, including the COVID-19, at the selected institutions.
ACP Charles Botwe, Officer Commanding at the Regional Police Training in Kumasi, expressed his profound gratitude to Zoomlion Company for the kind gesture of extending the exercise to the school.
He noted that said the exercise was bound to enhance an attitudinal change of the students towards a healthy study environment for the benefit of the country.
