The members of Joy Charismatic Renewal, a prayer group within the Catholic Church, have donated items to the St. Mary’s Catholic Church at South Suntreso, a suburb of Kumasi, to mark their 40th Anniversary.

 

The items included dust bins, detergents, air fresheners, scraping brushes and others to enhance the effective running of church activities.

Mr. Ransform Akwasi Yeboah, Coordinator and Leader, explained that the group had gone through a lot during its 40 years of existence, hence the need to express appreciation to God, by the kind gesture to affect all members of the church positively, not only spiritually, but physically and socially.

Rev. Fr. Peter Osei Amoateng expressed his profound gratitude to the leadership and the entire members of the group for the kind gesture done the mother church.

He entreated other groups, societies and individuals to emulate the shining example of the members Joy Charismatic Renewal, to help improve the lives of the members of church, not only spiritually, but physically, to see the glory of God.
