After allegedly defrauding 600 teachers through his Norvinedude Fun Club, many were those who thought Philip Adzokatse, a teacher at Podoe in the North Tongu district of the Volta Region, has leant a lesson but the opposite seems to be the case.
Latest information indicates that he, together with one Godwin Logo Totime have extended a similar credit facility to Toh-Kpalime in the South Dayi District and has once again succeeded in duping 188 of his clients.
The development is creating tension in the area, as several attempts by the victims Adzokatse to pay various sums of money he had taken from them in the name of ‘susu’which would have qualified them to collect roofing materials, cement among others as their benefits have gone unheeded.
The victims are, therefore, appealing to the President elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and the security agencies to, as a matter of importance, help them to retrieve their monies as the situation had made their businesses to collapse.
Speaking in an interview with The Chronicle at Ho, the Spokesperson for the victims, Madam Mabel Ansah, explained that the founder and the manager of the Norvinedude Fun Club introduced the Club to them as a credit facility that would help them improve their standard of living and they also joined.
Madam Ansah continued that as part of the rules and regulations of the Club, a member who successfully contributes GHC2.00 a week for six months qualified to be given GHC5, 000 and building materials among others.
She regretted that though she and others members met this regulation and, therefore, qualified for the benefits, Adzokatse and Totime had refused to pay them their monies and other benefits. He is also not responding to their calls whilst his whereabouts is also not known.

She continued that somewhere this year, some of the members read about a report carried by The Chronicle about similar complaints that had been lodged against Adzokatse especially at Anyirawase near Ho and his subsequent arrest by the Police.
They, therefore, want the public and police to know that he had perpetrated similar crime against them.
She, therefore, appealed to the police to act the same way they did to help the victims in the Toh-Kpalime area to get back their monies.
She described Adzokatse and Totime as people who depend largely on the innocent people to make money stressing that after the police had collected their monies for them, they must also be dealt with according to law.
It would be recalled that on Tuesday 17th August, 2016 The Chronicle carried a front page story with the headline “teacher defrauds over six hundred business persons in Volta” and mentioned Philip Adzokatse as the architect of the crime.
Telephone calls to both Philip Adzokatse and Godwin Logo Totime to react to the story were not answered. They would also not respond to text messages sent to them.
