The Kpone-Katamanso District Assembly (KKDA) is bereaved, after the sudden demise of Alhaji Esah Antiaye Tetteh, first District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area.
Before taking his political appointment as DCE about five years ago, Alhaji Tetteh was the National Chairman of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU).
Alhaji Tetteh, realising his unfitness due to ill-health, served the Local Government Ministry with his resignation letter and handed it over letter early this year. However, the Ministry did not grant his request, because it did not have an immediate successor to the position.

Following his illness, Alhaji Antiaye Tetteh was admitted at the 37 Military Hospital for few weeks, but was pronounced dead Tuesday December 13.
Being a Moslem, and per the Islamic funeral and burial rites, Alhaji Antiaye Tetteh was interred at the Kpone cemetery yesterday, December 14.
He died at 70, and was succeeded by three wives and sixteen ch
