A statement issued in Kumasi, and signed by Nana Akwasi Kwarteng, a member of AFC, on behalf of his colleagues, stated: “We are over excited and humbly wish to share in the joy of Nana Addo’s victory, which confirms him as the President-elect of the Republic of Ghana.”
“We are proud of you and wish to assure you of our readiness to offer the needed assistance whenever the need arises,” the former AFC member a

ssured Nana Akufo-Addo, who was the former AFC National Spokesman.
The group prayed that the Almighty God will kindly grant the president-elect the wisdom and strength to rigorously pursue the duty entrusted in him by the good people of Ghana, and seriously tackle the canker of corruption and dissipation of state resources that had plagued Ghana in the past.
The former AFC executives also hoped Ghanaians will continue to guide and uphold the ideals to improve upon governance and ruthlessly flush out negative tendencies from the Ghanaian political system.
