On transfer deadline day, the former Cordoba goalie agreed to join Real Juan with personal terms satisfied.
However, in a shocking turn of events, Braimah rejected the contract despite the announcement from the club.
"Yesterday the signing of Razak Braimah after a verbal agreement, in the absence of the signing of the contract, and that agreement was solidified with the debut in the evening in Valdepeñas," announced Real Juan.
Razak on Wednesday morning told the club about his decision not to sign the deal, leaving them speechless.
"This morning the player communicated to the coach and the club his decision not to sign what had been agreed yesterday, so he left the club," the club added.
Razak Braimah also took to social media to explain his stance on the offer.
"I have not signed any contract with Real Jaén and I am not a player for that club," he wrote.
