The Spanish lower-tier club on Tuesday announced that they have reached a deal to sign the player.
However, in a twist, the club on Wednesday also said that the deal could not go through.
“Yesterday the signing of Razak Braimah after a verbal agreement, in the absence of the signing of the contract, and that agreement was solidified with the debut in the evening in Valdepeñas.
“This morning the player communicated to the coach and the club his decision not to sign what had been agreed yesterday, so he left the club,” Real Juan said in a statement.
To confirm turning down the offer from the Spanish club, Razak Brimah also posted a Tweet on his Twitter page saying he has not signed for the team.
“I have not signed any contract with Real Jaén and I am not a player for that club,” he posted. Read Full Story
