This is the second community centre to commence construction in his constituency in the past few months.
Speaking at the sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of the community centre, which was held at the project site, the MP noted that, owing to the lack of a community centre for the Ekuase community, the constituents are compelled to make do with an open space at the construction site for a number of community activities.
However, he was of the view that the current situation was very inconvenient when it rains, thereby necessitating the decision to construct an ultramodern community centre befitting the status of the Ekuase community in particular, and the Sekondi Metropolis, in general.

The MP gave further details of the project that it is expected to be completed within six months and it is being financed through the Ministry of Special Development under the One Million per Constituency through the Coastal Development Authority.
He also, in line with his social contract with the people, spoke about the Nkotompo Community Centre, which is ongoing and the construction of a 16 seater Ultramodern Public Toilet for the people of Egyamoabakam community which is part of the Ekuase/Essaman Electoral Area.
