Yamin who was responding to assertions that GFA official’s influence player selection into the national said that, player influence is real but it is not a problem for the team.
The Black Stars failed to live up to expectation in 2014 after they were booted out from the competition in the group stages.
Prior to the tournament, James Kwesi Appiah named Adam Kwarasay, Fatau Dauda and Stephen Adams as goalkeepers in his final 23-man squad.
Kwarasey after marking the post for the Black Stars against USA which ended in a 2-1 defeat for Ghana was relegated to the bench.
However, Fatau Dauda became the number choice goalkeeper for the team in subsequent games but Yamin who was with the team at the time says he would have stick to Adam Kwarasay if he was the coach.
