Details of the meeting are yet to be known to the public but the President of the GFA, Kurt Okraku appeared ecstatic to have met Mr Badu.
The two are said to have deliberated on ways to improve the fortunes of Ghana football and what role traditional rulers can play in Igniting Passions and Creating Wealth in the football industry.
Confirming the news on his Facebook page, Kurt Okraku said “Yesterday I went through a bit of schooling ..The most revered Kofi Badu, Chief of Staff at the BIG Palace hosted me and a friend...Thanks so much Chief..
ONE BIG lesson I picked....Today May 5th marks the day organized football started in Ghana.

The GFA President in the last few weeks has been engaging major stakeholders in football to deliberate on ways to resume the game in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.
Currently, all football related activities have been suspended in the country following the government’s decision to curtail social gatherings in a bid to control the spread of the virus.
It is unknown if the GFA will continue with the league when the ban on social gathering is lifted or they will annul it.
