According to Commey, the number of away wins registered in the league added to the performance of the referees makes the league more competitive than previous years.
Commey was answering questions regarding the competitiveness of the current campaign.
” The league I think was very competitive. If you look at the how the team were winning away games you could see the competitiveness of the league. It made it difficult to predict the outcome of games.
” Officiating for me was much better than previous years , the referees were on top of their game because they fear being caught and face punishment. So it made the matches more difficult to predict.
Commey also hailed the media for their effort in promoting the league.
“The media too have contributed a lot in promoting the league. They have given the premier League much more attention than preview years. So the media coverage has really helped the league.”
