Political watchers have asserted that the upcoming elections would largely be hinged on track records of both the opposition National Democratic Congress and the governing New Patriotic Party.
Other determinants of the 2020 elections many have said are the fight against corruption and unemployment.
But reacting to these assertions, Ghana’s former ambassador to the United Kingdom Victor Smith mentioned that if the elections will actually be based solely on track records, the NPP under Akufo-Addo will lose.
According to him, the National Democratic Congress has evidence to prove for the massive infrastructural development and the development of the country in general whiles the New Patriotic Party cannot prove to Ghanaians what they’ve been using monies they borrow for.
