Alfred Obeng picks form for NPP primaries

Mr Alfred Obeng-Boateng, an NPP Parliamentary Aspirant, has picked a nomination form, to contest for election as Member of Parliament for the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency, in the forthcoming Party.

Addressing a crowd that followed him to the NPP constituency office at Bibiani, Mr Obeng-Boateng, also known as Approachers), said he was responding to the cries of his people to give them a better leadership, as Member of Parliament for the area.

He said it was time for the constituency to be led by someone who had lived with and understood their situations, and turned the tide for the better.

He also assured the people that he would intensify and expand the youth entrepreneurial training that he was already pursuing, to reduce unemployment in the area.

Mr Obeng-Boateng hinted that the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai constituency was endowed with great natural resources like gold, and bauxite and when he becomes the MP, he would ensure that the people in the area enjoyed maximum benefits from the resources.

"We can't be surrounded by gold, cocoa and bauxite and still wallow in poverty, things must change for the better,' he told a cheering crowd. Read Full Story
