The woman who is at crossroads in making a decision submitted her story to Facebook's David Papa Bondze-Mbir.
The anonymous woman explained that, though they had an agreement before their marriage that she would wait till they (husband and wife) give birth before pursuing her Ph.D. programme, her husband now wants her to forgo such dreams.
Eve though her mother and mother-in-law have offered to help take care of their two kids (7-year-old and 5-year-old) in turns, her not-convinced husband thinks having a Masters degree is enough since he (husband) also has a masters and not Ph.D.
"Dave..., I want to go ahead with it but he's threatening to cheat on me If leave Ghana to school. He says I shouldn't blame him if my actions force him to also change. He's calling me disrespectful, suggesting that I'm not being submissive to him as the head of the family," she wrote, GhanaWeb monitored.
Her message divided followers of David Papa Bondze-Mbir, with some advising her to pursue for Ph.D. dreams, others also want her to let go for her family.
