In a statement, the company said Dr Dzani was only invited by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) to assist with investigations into the reasons that led to the revocation of the company’s licence.
Reports on Thursday, 21 November 2019 said Dr Dzani was arrested and sent to the Ministries Police Station for misappropriation of funds.
But Groupe Ideal, in a statement signed by the Director, Corporate Communications & Strategy, Mr Ekow Blankson, urged the public to ignore and treat as fake news the reports of the arrest of Dr Dzani.
“Dr Dzani reported last week and yesterday he was again at the offices of EOCO to aid the investigations. We are committed to the rule of law and at the end, justice will prevail and we will be vindicated,” the statement said. Read Full Story
