Pitch invader Awal Sulemana freed

Awal Sulemana, the 25-year-old man who invaded the pitch in Ghana's AFCON qualifier against South Africa has been fined GHC2500 by a Cape Coast court.

Awal was arrested by the police on Thursday, November 14 but was granted bail three days later.

The graduate nurse was charged with offensive conduct and unlawful entry and asked to appear in court today, November 21 2019.

In court this morning, Awal was given a GHC2500 fine and made to sign a bond of good behavior. Read Full Story
