The four-time African champions began their qualifying campaign on a good note with a 2-0 win over South Africa at the Cape Coast Stadium on Thursday evening.
A goal apiece in each half from Thomas Partey and Kudus Mohammed ensured coach Kwesi Appiah's side pick up all the three points at home.
The team will travel to Sao Tome and Principe to play them on Monday and Mensah, who put up an incredible performance at left-back, says Ghana is ready for the clash.
