The late General was a former Director-General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) and also a former General Officer Commanding (GOC), Southern Command.
Paying tribute to the late General, the former President described the late Ahiaglo as a good manager and disciplinarian, noting that it was a quality he brought to bear at the NLA.
“When I needed someone with strong discipline to take charge of the NLA the choice naturally fell on him,” Mr Mahama said.
At the residence of the former President were the family, wife of the late Ahiaglo, Madam Dzifa Gomashie, a former Deputy Minister of State and their children.
Joining the former President to receive the family were Messrs. Julius Debrah, Prosper Bani, Joyce Bawah Mogtari and Kenneth Adjei.
