In a bid to caution people to be wary of those they let into their inner circle, Afropop artiste, Celebee has dropped his latest single, Back Case.
“Back Case was inspired by the ups and downs in my life especially when I got to find out that the people who I thought had my back were actually not happy about my progress.
“The song is to tell haters pretending to be lovers that I do not care about their evil plans because it is my back case. With God on our side, we will smile at the storm since they don’t have power over our destiny, they are just mere mortals,” he stated.
Back Case, produced by BBM Music sees a growth in Celebee’s craft; his lyrics are on point and he creatively compares his ‘back case’ with the backside of actress and socialite, Moesha Boduong as well Fella Makafui and American rapper Nicki Minaj.
The Telephone singer told Showbiz he’s encouraged by the positive responses from some industry folks who have listened to it.
“ Truly, I’m amazed because it has shown the different side of my creativity and already, some senior artistes I sent the song to for critiquing have given it a thumbs up,” he said.
Real name Alfred Wilson Acquah, Celebee is an old student of Aggrey Memorial Secondary School. Back then, he knew he wanted to pursue music professionally but he had to put that ambition on hold to satisfy his parents’ quest for him to pursue higher education.
And after earning a Diploma in Agriculture at the College of Tropical Agriculture in Kumasi in 2011 and a degree from the Presby University College last year, the Takoradi-based artiste he came back to pursue music.
In 2018, he released two tracks, Me Den You and Telephone produced by BBM Music under his management Page Pitch Entertainment.
