Referee Laryea, who missed the AFCON 2019 boat at the eleventh hour, will console himself with Sunday’s assignment in the interim as he aims at the future prospects.
As the nation’s leading referee currently, Laryea has already been earmarked by FIFA for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
The 32-year-old young man made history in the 2013/2014 as the youngest referee to officiate in the Premier League at age 24.
His first and second assistants are FIFA referee, Paul Atimaka, from Aflao and Accra-based Class One referee, F.D. Ocansey.
