The build up to today’s round of matches has been dominated by referees’ unpaid allowances but we are confident the games will take centre stages once they start at 3pm.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko are flying high in the Northern Zone with ten points and are certainly going to end the round with Berekum Chelsea who lie sixth on the log and have won just one of their six games.
Accra Hearts of Oak have been inconsistent in the first round and after their 3-2 loss to WAFA over the weekend the Phobians will want to bounce back against out of shape Inter Allies.
Hearts occupy the 5th position with 9 points while Inter Allies lie second from bottom with 5 points.
Another game in the Southern Zone to look forward to is the match between Karela United and Liberty at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park in Anyinasi.
Karela United are yet to taste a defeat at home in the competition and will have their invisibility at home under threat when they face the Dansoman boys.
Other games this afternoon include;
Aduana Stars vs Medeama
Eleven Wonders vs Bechem United
Dreams FC vs Elmina Sharks
Ebusua Dwarfs vs WAFA
Stay here for updates at 3pm
