Ghana-based American jazz singer Toni Manieson dies

Toni Manieson, an American jazz musician based in Ghana, has passed away.

Toni who kept jazz alive in Ghana for more than 20 years passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2019 around 9pm.

When she was alive she trained and worked with most of the people in Ghana’s jazz scene.

Report has it that she passed away after a tribute concert was done in her honour at the Labadi Beach Hotel.

In 2014, Toni was one of the speakers at TEDxLabone. She spoke about gratitude.
