Kwadwo Asamoah stirs controversy with shocking injury return for Inter Milan

Black Stars player, Kwadwo Asamoah is dividing opinions with his sudden recovery from a supposed injury he suffered on national duty during last week’s international break.

Asamoah whose long absence from the senior national team had been a matter of repeated debate was excused from Ghana’s friendly with Mauritania last week under the premise of an incurred injury during training with the national team.

Having been excused from the Black Stars camp with the reported injury expected to keep him out of action for a couple weeks, Ghanaian football fans were irritated to see Asamoah playing the entire duration of Inter Milan’s Serie A game against Lazio while putting in a man-of-the match performance to compliment.

Asamoah’s commitment to the national team, having been under public scrutiny in recent years appears to not have done himself much favor with his energetic involvement in the 1-0 loss to Lazio whereas his body language during the international break did not show same for Ghana. Read Full Story
