Hearts record lone goal victory over Dreams FC

Accra Hearts of Oak recorded a lone goal victor over Dreams FC, in the week one of the Special Cup Competition, organized by the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Normalisation Committee.

Coming into the game with a psychological advantage over Dreams FC, after a pre-season friendly saw them win 3-1, Hearts were the favourite side, but blew away several begging chances in the game.

Hearts fetched the only goal of the match in the 48th minute of the game through Kojo Obeng Junior.

Hearts held on to the lead till the close of the game, though they could have scored more but the likes of Kofi Kordzi failed to convert the scoring chances that came their way. Read Full Story
