Blessing and Iniesta were on opposite sides when his Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) thrashed Iniesta's Vissel Kobe 4-1 on February 1.
A crowd of 18,100 was treated to a show by LAFC captain Carlos Vela, who scored two top-notch first-half goals in a 4-1 win over J.League side Vissel Kobe which also featured Lukas Podolski and former MLS star David Villa.
Blessing, 22, who came on as a substitute during the tie took to social media pages a week later to recall his humble beginnings in Ghana.
He posted: "The smile on my face alone tells how joyful I’m Meeting the legendary @andresiniesta8 ?? growing up as a kid dreaming and aspiring to play football in my village in Ghana ???????? @andresiniesta8 was one of the players I use to watch on Tv,and today I’m not watching him on tv but has gotten the opportunity to play in a preseason friendly game with him ????
