It’s the opening match of Group B of the 2019 under-20 Africa Cup of Nations and Black Satellites coach Jimmy Cobblah is sure of victory.
Coach Cobblah is confident the three times champions (1993, 1999 and 2009), will produce a much better game in this competition than their recent past to earn a slot for the World Cup slated for Poland later in the year.
"I'm expecting the boys to come out strongly in all aspects to win as we help them on the touchline. As you know, it is the first match of the tournament and a must-win game for us,” Coach Cobblah told the Daily Graphic.
In light of this, coach Cobblah has named his best men in the starting team to take on Burkina Faso.
Ishaku Konda, Kudus Mohammed and Enoch Atta Agyei are some of the names Ghanaians have banked their hopes on to give the Satellites victory this afternoon
A win will not come cheaply as Burkina are also bent on securing all three points against their neighbours.
Below is the starting IX:
Manaf Nurudeen Maxwell Arthur Muntari Kamaheni Gideon Mensah Ishaku Konda Sabit Abdulai Saddiq Ibrahim Emmanuel Kumah Daniel Lomotey Kudus Mohamed Enoch Atta Agyei
Kick off is 15:30 GMT
