“It is unfortunate he has been shot dead but if you go and stand on the road and you are knocked down by a vehicle it is your own palaver”, he disclosed on Accra-based Okay FM monitored by mynewsgh.com insisting it is his opinion on the matter.
He however sympathized with the bereaved family but observed that they exposed themselves to danger with impunity when they were supposed to tread cautiously.
Lawyer Effah Dartey also denied claims that NPP firebrand, Kennedy Agyapong should be blamed for his death insisting that the lawmaker has not done anything criminal to warrant him being hauled before any court.
“I cannot say Kennedy Agyapong caused the death of Ahmed Hussein-Suale even though his comments were too much. If he said if he is seen around his premises he should be beaten does not mean someone should take a gun and go and kill him. Kennedy Agyapong has not sent anyone”, he revealed.
On showing his images on NET 2 TV he argued “the fact Kennedy Agyapong showed his images on TV does not mean you should go and kill him. No one can stand in a court of competent jurisdiction to pronounce Kennedy Agyapong guilty. All he sought to do was to say Ahmed was a member of Tiger Eye PI and these were images and there is nothing wrong with it and it. If you are a member of Tiger Eye PI and believe what you are doing is right why you are afraid they will make your images public”, he quizzed.
