Hungry lady beaten for stealing goat pepper soup

A lady suspected to have stolen a pot of soup has been given the beating of her life.

But for the timely intervention of neighbours, the situation could have gotten worse as the victim was pummeled by the owner of the food who despite pleas to temper justice with mercy, was hesitant.

According to eyewitnesses, MyNewsGh.com gathered from, the owner was reported to have put the food on fire and stepped out to the toilet only to return to its mysterious disappearance.

Upon investigations, it was uncovered that the lady in question was the one who was behind the disappearance and therefore confronted her leading to some heated exchanges.

In the ensuing melee, the suspect was subjected to severe beatings but later rescued by neighbors who promised to pay for the cost of the stolen soup.
