Re: NPA boss pays himself 15.5 billion as rent allowance for one year

Chief executive of the National Petroleum Authority, Hassan Tampuli has strongly rebuffed claims that he has received a rent allowance of 15 billion cedis

In a rejoinder, he described a publication to that effect as scandalous and wicked lies aimed at tarnishing his hard won reputation.

The statement states in certain terms that no such amount has ever been paid to the NPA boss or any staff for that matter.

Claims that Hassan Tampuli was given such an outrageous amount, found roots on social media and was spread on the same platform.

Some news sites picked up in the rumour and spun article out of it.
