Two passengers, a male and Female, died at the spot while 30 others sustained injuries and have been hospitalized at the Suhum government hospital.
According to the acting Ayensuano District Director of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), Jospeh Okai Gyan, some of the survivors noted that the driver started showing signs of drowsiness when the bus reached Bunso and appeared to be losing control of the steering wheel unconsciously.
The passengers said they drew the attention of the driver to the danger but he ignored them and kept moving until the vehicle somersaulted at Apeatu killing the two passengers. Read Full Story
