According to them, Ghana isn’t safe to have Mr. Blay in charge of our oil and gas resources because they believe he wasted the country’s resources for his selfish desire to win the National Chairmanship position through vote buying.
“The gross misconduct of Mr. Freddie Blay fueled by his insatiable desire for political power no matter the cost renders him unsuitable as the man to remain in charge of our oil and gas resources. Ghana is not safe”, they stated.
In a press release copied to GhanaWeb, the Minority in Parliament are threatening President Akufo-Addo to as a matter of urgency adhere to their request or will ‘vigorously’ explore other avenues if he fails to do so within two weeks.
Also, they are demanding Freddie Blay to step aside as GNPC Board Chairman in the interim ahead of the forensic audit so as not to interfere with proceedings.
