Dogboe recorded a TKO win over Magdaleno in round 11 to dethrone the champion.
Accam, who recently joined Philadelphia Union from Chicago Fire joined other Ghanaians to offer support to the former Olympian.
The 23-year-old hard puncher suffered his first knockdown in round one but that didn’t despair him.
Dogboe put everything behind him and worked the body of Magdaleno, dropping the Mexican three times enroute to the stoppage.
With the win, Dogboe becomes Ghana’s eighth world champion and the youngest world champion to come from Ghana.
