Wa All Stars, Berekum Chelsea, Inter Allies and Ebusua Dwarfs are the clubs who have joined the growing list of clubs that will be enjoying sponsorships from betting firms in the country.
This news comes weeks after fellow premier league clubs Liberty Professionals, Aduana stars, Medeama SC and Ashanti gold sealed similar deals with Betway recently.
New entrants, Dreams FC, have also had their fair share of the cake when they signed with Mybet.com.
The agreements deal bring to bear the influx of betting sponsorships directed at the football sector in Ghana.
In what could best be viewed as ambush marketing, the Ghana Premier League which has been without a headline sponsor for two seasons will be dominated by betting firms.
The official announcement which includes sponsorship for two other unnamed Division One sides will take place at the company’s headquarters in Osu, Accra on Friday. Read Full Story
