Jordan Ayew named Swansea City Best Player for January

Ghana International Jordan Ayew has been named Swansea City’s player for the month of January.

The forward saw off competition from defender Alfie Mawson and goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski to win the award which was decided by public votes.

Of seven games played by the club in January, Jordan started five, netting three times.

Jordan Ayew scored five goals for the Swans in the month of January. In all, Jordan has 25 topflight appearances, involving 22 starts and five goals, to his name this season.

In eight appearances under new manager Carlos Carvalhal, the Black Star has registered four goals.
