Earlier this week, Ghana’s football governing body announced an ambitious three-year programme for all competitions which incorporates international matches for the national teams, MTN FA Cup, Division One League, GHALCA tournament and CAF Inter-Club matches, the Ghana Premier League.
Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM, Commodore insisted he does not believe the upcoming league will start as scheduled especially when “the GFA don't even know the clubs who have been relegated officially”
“I don't believe the GFA can go by the three year calendar they have prepared. It will just be an exercise in futility”
He also cited the FA’s past records as a damning indication to their inability to successfully follow set timetables.
