Thomas Abbey set to renew Hearts contract

After refusing to renew his contract early on, skipper, Thomas Abbey has now agreed to extend his stay at Accra Hearts of Oak.

Information Ghanacrusader.com has gathered indicate that, the 24 year-old will ink a new one year deal on Monday.

This follows after he had a successful discussion with the club’s top hierarchy.

The Winneba-born player failed to strike a deal with South African side, Ajax Cape Coast in November after a two-week trial.

Abbey, who bagged 15 goals and 4 assists across all competition for the Phobians last term was reportedly been linked with a move to Major League Soccer sides, Minnesota United and New England Revolution.
